Bangle Size Guide
A bangle is measured by its inner diameter, since it has to pass over your hand rather than clasp around the wrist — so getting the size right matters.
Method 1: Measure a Bangle You Already Own
- 1Lay a bangle that fits you well on a flat surface.
- 2Measure the inner diameter in a straight line, from one inside edge to the other.
- 3Compare that number to the Diameter column below.
Method 2: Measure Your Hand
- 1Bring your thumb and little finger together, as if you were about to slide a bangle on.
- 2Wrap a strip of paper or a tape measure around the widest part of your hand, over the knuckles.
- 3Note that measurement, then compare it to the Circumference column below.
- 4Choose the next size up from your measurement — a bangle needs a little extra room to pass over the hand.

Tips for an Accurate Fit
- If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one — a bangle must slide over your hand, unlike a ring.
- A rigid, hinge-free bangle needs a little more room than one with a hinge and clasp.
